The Love River has a great history. At the same time, the development of Kaohsiung Port has brought Kaohsiung people's vision to the international level and brought the international gaze into Kaohsiung. The "Asia New Bay Area" links Kaohsiung Port and the riverside of the Love River, so that the Yancheng district can be successfully transformed and recreated with a glorious new look while preserving Kaohsiung's prosperous and human characteristics.

Continue readingThe Table lamp is made from a deer leather captured in Otsuchi, Iwate, Japan. Otsuchi was destroyed by the devastating tsunami caused by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. Our crop has been damaged due to a significant increase in number of deer, while the population of local residents declined. Local hunters started the Gibier business to carry on the life of a deer that was hunted as vermin. This lamp was created in a hope to carry on deer's life and create a feeling of peace to the user.

Constructed from hand finished Aisi 304 stainless steel, the lamp features a spherical base and a slender vertical stem. It functions as a task light with a focused beam, while also responding to touch with a gentle oscillation that returns the object to its vertical axis. The project extends to its aluminum packaging, which is designed to transform into a secondary ambient light. Released as a numbered limited edition, Nevi explores the relationship between kinetic behavior and material presence.
